From time to time, kitchen wastes like food left over, chopped vegetables, fruits, crushed egg shells, filters, tea bags, and coffee grounds like can be added to the worm farm. Things which should not be added are poultry, meat, dairy products, citrus fruits, oily food items and members of onion family like garlic, leek, etc. An unpleasant odor starts coming out of the farm because of these items.
